AP Gov Update for March 9-13

Starting Monday, there is to be no cell phone use or earbuds in the ears. Do not hide the phones in your lap.  Place them in your bag or binder during class.  You need to put them away prior to the beginning of class.  Lunch detentions will be given for violations.

Tuesday will be WVU Day.  WVU President Dr. Gee will be at school during lunch.  Wear your WVU apparel and get a selfie with Dr. Gee!

Current Events on Monday will be for the second half of the alphabet.  This is Grading Period 5, CE#1.

The Taylor County Humane Society is seeking volunteers for its spaghetti dinner on March 21.  See Mr. Zukowski if you are interested in volunteering.

There is a Parent-Teacher conference from 3:30 to 5:30 afterschool on Thursday.  If you have concerns, you are welcome to attend.  If you cannot attend, you can email Mr. Zukowski at rzukowsk@k12.wv.us or call 304-265-3046 ext 3201.

Last Hoorah before the AP GOV Exam!

This is the last hoorah before the AP American Government and Politics Exam.  You all have been preparing for this exam all year and I wish you the best tomorrow.  If you need any last-minute pointers, let me know and I'll give you advice. You will need to log on using your exam ticket at about 3:30 on Monday, May 11.  You will need to log into a demo exam to check and see if your device is compatible.  The exam will start at 4:00 p.m. and will ultimately be over by 4:50. I have posted a video to tell you all "Hoorah" and best wishes on the exam. I do not have any assignments for you this week.  But I hope you take the time to turn in some things and include your reply to the Flipgrid video .  I would like to see your face and hear your voice. AP Gov Update for September 24-28

There will be a Voter Registration Drive during lunches on Tuesday, September 25, in front of the cafeteria.  If you are eligible to vote in November, you can check your status and even register to vote. The first six weeks grading period ends on Wednesday.  If you are missing any assignments from the first six weeks, you need to get organized and turn everything in by Thursday morning as grades have to be turned in on Friday morning.  Do not delay! The first half of the alphabet will be turning Current Events on Monday.  This will be Grading pEriod 1, CE#3.
