AP Gov Assignments for March 30 to April 3

Assignments for March 29 to April 3 Remember, at this point, assignments will be used for enrichment.    Assignments submitted will be graded as they are turned in.    Remember to follow the submission instructions.   When sharing documents through email, please change the name of the document to reflect the name of the assignment.  This will let me know what specific assignment you are submitting as well as let you know what assignment you were working on.  Also, in the subject line of emails, write what the email is about.  Again, this will let each of us know what the email is about.  If you are submitting activities through OneNote, remember to send a Remind message or email me to check specifically for the activities on OneNote. We will have an optional online Teams session Tuesday at 1:30.  Log on and let's have a conversation about the class, exam, or anything in general.  You should have received an invitation i...

AP Gov Update for March 26

I assume everyone has read Mrs. Shumaker's message on LiveGrades on March 25.  All work at this point is going to use for enrichment.  That means teachers are going to assign activities that are going to be used to reinforce skills taught, rather than new material.  Not completing these assignments will not hurt your grade.  It can only help your grade.   If you are on the border of a certain grade, these activities can certainly help you out. I will continue to assign activities and enter the grades.  I will post assignments on Fridays.  Please follow the details below on how to submit the assignments.  I am going to assign activities that will reinforce topics 1-3 for the AP Exam.  The AP exam will be given from home on computer at a later date.  It will focus on topics 1-3 and will be FRQ based.  When sharing documents through email, please change the name of the document to reflect the name of the assignment.  This...

AP Gov Update for March 30

This is an update on how everyone has been turning in their assignments.  I have given the option to send me emails with copy and paste, photos, or word document as well as posting your work on OneNote under the Homework tab. If you are submitting through OneNote, please send me a message by email, Live Grades, or Remind. I will be grading assignments as I get them and give you a message back acknowledging that I received it and graded it.  I will save any email you send me that has an assignment with it. I have put the 5-1 Current Events as missing if you have not turned them in.  There will be no penalty for turning in late.  This is just a marker in LiveGrades that you need to complete this activity. I will be trying different things next week for lessons.  Please bear with me as we are learning in these trying times. I will try to scan the pages from the AMSCO book this weekend and post on OneDrive and OneNote.  In terms of the AP Exam, I ha...

This is an unprecedented time in American and world history.  Things are changing day by day and minute by minute.  The only thing for certain at this point is that there will be no school until March 27 and that seems to be optimistic.  I'm sure that most of you have been trying to follow the news.
