AP Gov Update for week of December 4-8

***The second half of the alphabet has Current Events due on Monday.
***Reading quiz on Monday. 
***Essential Question Quiz on Tuesday.
***Chapter 6 test on Wednesday.

Here is the schedule for the week:


Monday:

  • The second half of the alphabet turn in Current Events.
  • Total Recall Question
  • Reading quiz for pages 214 to 220.  Here are the possible questions:
    • 1 - How does conventional and unconventional political participation differ?
    • 2 - How do protest and civil disobedience differ?
    • 3 - What is the correlation between political participation and income/education levels?
  • EQ Notes on political participation.

Tuesday:

  • Total Recall question
  • Essential Question Quiz.   You will answer two questions.   Here are the possible questions:
    • EQ 6-1:  How does the graying of America impact American government and society?
    • EQ 6-2:  What is the purpose of schools for political socialization?
    • EQ 6-3:  What does failure of "cultural literacy" result in?
    • EQ 6-4: Describe demographic differences between liberals and conservatives.
    • EQ 6-5:  How does class and inequality impact political participation?

Wednesday:

  • Turn in chapter 6 packet

Thursday:

Friday (2-hour dismissal):
