AP Gov Update for January 27-31

We are now in the depths of Civil Liberties and Civil Liberties.

Remember that Monday that the second half of the alphabet will have Current Events due.  This is Grading Period 4, CE#1.  Don't forget about this.

We are going to have a Reading Quiz on Wednesday.  You must read the section prior to class. A prompt with be assigned and you will need to write a response.

There will be a PIPS and Required Court Cases quiz on Friday.

Monday:

  • New Preamble paper
  • Current Events - second half of the alphabet
  • Review 5-1 Questions
  • Videos on Incorporation Doctrine and Bill of Rights
  • 5-2 Questions:  First Amendment and Freedom of Expression p.100-107



Tuesday:

  • Preamble
  • Review Freedom of Expression
  • Videos on Freedom of Expression and Where does Freedom of Expression end?
  • Read pages 108-111 for Wednesday.  You will be quizzed on what you have read.



Wednesday:

  • Preamble
  • Reading Quiz on pages 108-111
  • Discussion of Freedom of Religion
  • 5-3 Questions 



Thursday:

  • Preamble
Review of court cases related to the Bill of Rights


Friday:

  • Preamble (turn in)
  • PIPS Quiz (20)
  • Court Case Quiz (15)
  • Read pages 111-118 for Monday
