AP Gov Update for January 27-31

We are now in the depths of Civil Liberties and Civil Liberties. Remember that Monday that the second half of the alphabet will have Current Events due.  This is Grading Period 4, CE#1.  Don't forget about this. We are going to have a Reading Quiz on Wednesday.  You must read the section prior to class. A prompt with be assigned and you will need to write a response. There will be a PIPS and Required Court Cases quiz on Friday. AP Gov Update for January 21-24

It's a new semester!  The AP Gov Exam is on May 5th!  We need to get cranking!  I was pleased with most of the FRQs from the semester exam.  We are going to have a lot more practice with them over the next few months. Here is the agenda for the week: Tuesday:  Semester exams if you need to take them. Wednesday:  Present your Justice Projects to the class and Current Event schedules will be distributed. Thursday:  Chapter 5 Vocabulary.   We are going to break down the Bill of Rights and how it applies to Civil Liberties.  Read pages 94-100 for Thursday. Friday:  Section 5-1:  The Courts and Conflicts over Civil Liberties.  Read pages 100 to 107 for Monday.

Happy New Year!!!
