AP Gov Update week of April 1-5

AP Pre-Administration will take place in the library at 8:00 on Monday.  You will need to bring the remainder of your fees to pay for the AP exam.

No use of phones in class.  If you need to use a device, use the class iPads.

Current Events for the second half of the alphabet are due on Monday.  This will be Grading Period 6, CR#1.

Here is the agenda for the week:


Monday:

  • New Preamble
  • Current Events
  • Turn in chapter 5 packet
  • Chapter 5 test
  • Chapter 14 Vocabulary



Tuesday:

  • Preamble
  • We will talk about a couple of topics such as religious freedom and fiscal federalism.
  • We will begin the Bureaucracy chapter with a Crash Course Video.
  • Read pages 472 to 480 for Wednesday.



Wednesday:

  • Preamble
  • How is food regulated?
  • Crash Couse video on types of bureaucracies
  • EQ Notes 14-1
  • Read pages 480 to 483 for Thursday



Thursday:

  • Preamble
  • Third Crash Course video
  • EQ Nortes 14-2:  How the Federal bureaucracy is organized
  • Read pages 484 to 492 for Friday



Friday:

  • Preamble:  Turn in
  • EQ Notes 14-3:  Bureaucracies as Implementors
