Please keep your study guides and vocabulary for each chapter.

Monday:

  •  No School

Tuesday:
  • New Total Recall paper
  • Current Events for the first half of the alphabet
  • Essential Question Notes p. 44-50

  • EQ 2-2:  What were the critical issues at the Constitutional Convention?


Wednesday:

  • ·       Citizenship test
  •       Read pages 50 to 54 for Thursday – Reading Quiz on Thursday 



Thursday:
  • Reading Quiz - here are the possible question (for pages 50-54)   
    • #1 What did Madison propose to present the tyranny of the majority?
    • #2  What gave the Supreme Court its checks and balances power?
    • #3 In what ways is the Constitution a republic system?

  • EQ 2-3 Notes:  What made the Madisonian System unique in the world?



Friday:  
  • Finish Total Recall Questions.
  • PIPS Quiz
  • Documents of American government and flowchart of checks and powers.

Last Hoorah before the AP GOV Exam!

This is the last hoorah before the AP American Government and Politics Exam.  You all have been preparing for this exam all year and I wish you the best tomorrow.  If you need any last-minute pointers, let me know and I'll give you advice. You will need to log on using your exam ticket at about 3:30 on Monday, May 11.  You will need to log into a demo exam to check and see if your device is compatible.  The exam will start at 4:00 p.m. and will ultimately be over by 4:50. I have posted a video to tell you all "Hoorah" and best wishes on the exam. I do not have any assignments for you this week.  But I hope you take the time to turn in some things and include your reply to the Flipgrid video .  I would like to see your face and hear your voice. This was supposed to be your last week as a senior in school, and I truly miss this annual ritual.  It should have been a once in a lifetime ritual for you.  Let me know if there is anything I can do...

Social Studies Fair Information

This is information about the Social Studies Fair: Wednesday, January 30 from 4:00 - 6:30. Set up starts in the Taylor County Middle School library at 3:30. Please bring your presentation board and abstract with you. Mr. Zukowski will not be at school on Tuesday, but you can message him on Tuesday if you have questions.   If you need transportation to the school, let Mr. Zukowski know. There is a snow day or Ice Pack day, further instructions will come. If you are not able to attend due to practice/game/competition or work, let Mr. Zukowski know in class on Monday.
