AP Gov update for September 11-15
"Where were you when the world stopped turning" was a song Alan Jackson wrote shortly after 9/11. This is a day to remember the events of that day as well as how people and government reacted to the events of that day. This will take up the majority of the class time on Monday.

- Read pages 54-56 for Tuesday
Tuesday:
- Students will be assigned questions from the study guide to answer specific questions
- EQ Notes 2-4 on the Ratification of the Constitution.
- Read pages 57-63 for Wednesday.
Wednesday:
- EQ Notes 2-5 about the ways the Constitution can be changed.
- Create maps on Constitutional Amendments
Thursday:
- Work on Chapter study guide in groups.
Friday:
- Essential Question Quiz. You will be answering two questions. Here are the possible questions:
- 2-1: Name three reasons the Articles of Confederation failed and why.
- 2-2: How did the Framers address equality in representation?
- 2-3: What was the purpose of the system of checks and balances?
- 2-4: Why was the Bill of Rights added to the Constitution?
Test on Monday, September 18. Don't forget about the Constitution Day cakes.
