AP Gov Assignments for April 27 - May 1

We are heading into may this week.  It was confirmed last week what we really did not want to happen, that is to end the school year without going back to the schools.

Here is what I want you to do.  I have created a Flipgrid and I want you to view the video I posted.  Then I want you to click the green button and create a short video telling me how you are doing.  It would be great to see familiar faces!

Here are the activities:

  1. Continue to watch the YouTube videos from the AP College Board
  2. Continue watching review videos from Carey LaManna.
  3. Review Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6 from the AMSCO book.
  4.  Complete at least one FRQ from chapters 7, 8, and 9.  They should be FRQ 1 and 4 from each chapter.  You should have 3 FRQs finished when you submit.
  5. Complete the Presidency review on Khan Academy by April 27 at 11:59 pm.  Start working on Civil Liberties review on Khan Academy by May 4 at 11:59 p.m.
  6. There will be a review session on Unit 3 on Teams video session Wednesday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m.  Please complete the Unit 3 review on OneDrive.
  7. Complete Current Events Grading Period 6, CE#1 using Allsides.com.

Also, on May 9, C-SPAN will broadcast "Cram for the Exam" where hosts will answer questions from students across the nation about AP American Government and Politics.  Remember the exam is on May 11.
AP U.S. Government and Politics- Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 - 10:00am ET on C-SPAN and C-SPAN.org
Dan Larsen and Andrew Conneen, teachers from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, join us for our 12th annual Cram for the Exam program to help A.P. Government and Politics students around the country prepare for their upcoming exam. Dan and Andrew will discuss the exam and make suggestions as to what students should be studying. They will also respond to student questions asked via telephone and social media.
During the program, students may Tweet questions they'd like answered to @cspanwj, post on Facebook, or via email journal@c-span.org. For Twitter, students can use the hashtag #CSPANCram4Exam.
Students may also call-in during the program but please know that due to the volume of calls, not all will make it on air.
