AP Gov Update for October 28 to November 1

If you were not in class on Friday, check the email sent on Friday.  You need to make sure you have linked the class to Edmodo.

Current Events for the first half of the alphabet is due on Monday.  This is Grading Period 2, CE#2.

Here is the agenda for the week:


Monday:

  • New Preamble paper
  • Current Events, Grading Period 2, CE#2
  • Turn in your test questions from last Friday.  
  • Bring your AMSCO book to class


Tuesday:

  • Preamble
  • Study Guide work


Wednesday:

  • Preamble
  • Chapter 14 Test


Thursday:

  • Preamble
  • Research using the Edmodo website.



Friday:

  • Preamble Turn in
  • An alumnus of GHS will be speaking to the class.



Read pages 365-370 for next Monday.  Current events for the second half of the alphabet will be due next Monday.

Last Hoorah before the AP GOV Exam!

This is the last hoorah before the AP American Government and Politics Exam.  You all have been preparing for this exam all year and I wish you the best tomorrow.  If you need any last-minute pointers, let me know and I'll give you advice. You will need to log on using your exam ticket at about 3:30 on Monday, May 11.  You will need to log into a demo exam to check and see if your device is compatible.  The exam will start at 4:00 p.m. and will ultimately be over by 4:50. I have posted a video to tell you all "Hoorah" and best wishes on the exam. I do not have any assignments for you this week.  But I hope you take the time to turn in some things and include your reply to the Flipgrid video .  I would like to see your face and hear your voice. This was supposed to be your last week as a senior in school, and I truly miss this annual ritual.  It should have been a once in a lifetime ritual for you.  Let me know if there is anything I can do...

Social Studies Fair Information

This is information about the Social Studies Fair: Wednesday, January 30 from 4:00 - 6:30. Set up starts in the Taylor County Middle School library at 3:30. Please bring your presentation board and abstract with you. Mr. Zukowski will not be at school on Tuesday, but you can message him on Tuesday if you have questions.   If you need transportation to the school, let Mr. Zukowski know. There is a snow day or Ice Pack day, further instructions will come. If you are not able to attend due to practice/game/competition or work, let Mr. Zukowski know in class on Monday.
