AP Gov Update for February 17-21

Here is the Update for the week of February 17-21 Monday: No School Start Khan Academy instruction on Civil Rights.  This is due February 24.  Some of you have not been doing this and this will be worth approximately 150 points. Tuesday: New Preamble paper Current Events for the first half of the alphabet.  Grading Period 4, CE#2. Vocabulary Quiz for terms for the entire school year so far.   FRQ Practice.  Bring your AMSCO book.  FRQs for the Individual Liberties chapter.   Wednesday: Preamble Finish Chapter 5 (short discussion) Chapter 5 study guide Thursday: Preamble Finish Chapter 5 study guide - review for the test Friday: Preamble Chapter 5 test Loving movie if time remains.

AP Gov Update for February 10-14

Be sure to complete the Khan Academy lessons by Monday night. We will have Preambles this week. Current Events this week will be for the second half of the alphabet.  Grading Period 4, CE#2. We will be back in room 201 this week. AP Gov Update for February 3-7

There will no Preamble this week due to going to the Library for three days this week. Monday: Current Events for the first half of the alphabet.  Grading period 4, CE#1 Discussion on the primaries and caucuses since the Iowa Caucus is Monday. Khan Academy Lessons on First and Second Amendments have been assigned.  Complete by Next Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: We will be going to the library as Mrs. Bartlett will be teaching lessons on First Amendment and Banned Books. If time remains, we will go back to room 201 to review First Amendment concepts. Read pages 111 to 118 for Friday. Friday: Essential Question quiz based on the notes distributed last week.   5-4 Questions on Defendant Rights.
